DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Pendulum #1" hanging regulator, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in an oak case with painted metal dial.
CONDITION:
The case is in excellent condition and has been skillfully refinished. The metal dial was repainted by Frank Machera in the 1990s. Original hands and correct cast iron weight. Upper and lower glasses are wavy. A copper tag inside of door is stamped "Smith & Ziegler ". The signed brass movement has a spoked hour wheel and is stamped with serial number 49261.
